Bay Theatre, Stephenville

Bay Theatre was born more than 35 years ago - the product of such people as Laura Lush and Alma Alexander.

It was formed a couple of years before the Arts and Culture opened in Stephenville. Our theatre group has provided the Bay St. George area some wonderful productions over the years, such as “The Subject was Roses,” “The Fox” and “Crimes of the Heart.”

The group has had its ups and downs over the years, but the “labour of love” of its members continues, and they do what was intended in the beginning - bringing interested people together to provide quality community entertainment.
